As you may be aware, Sixways Clinic has a branch surgery in Andoversford. For some time they have been unable to make use of this site to see patients as it does not meet required standards in terms of IT and system access, privacy and infection control.
The Partners have considered a number of options in consultation with the local clinical commissioning group and in discussion with the patient participation group. They would now like to open a period of consultation with registered patients about the future of the branch surgery, and the possibility that this may be formally closed.

“A resident in the Cotswolds has received a telephone call from a ‘company’ which allegedly works for Cotswold District Council. He was told that he was due to receive a £6,000 council tax refund because his Council Tax banding has been too high in the past.
The telephone number of the bogus company is 03332 123132.
Please be aware that this scam may be targeting many residents in this area and please do not enter into any discussions with the caller. Most importantly, do not disclose any personal information such as banking details.”

I would like to offer a ‘taster class’ on Wednesday 29 March at 11am – 12 – that would be a yoga class and I will provide some tea and cake afterwards and a chat about future classes.
Here is a little bit about me as a Yoga Teacher, Massage Therapist and Weleda Wellbeing advisor –

I have been a Sivananda trained Voga Teacher since 2002 where I had the fantastic opportunity to learn my Teacher training in Reith near Kitzbuhel, Austria.
From here I started teaching at Y8 Yoga studios in Hamburg (yes my first classes I taught in German!) I also graduated from The Canadian college of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1997 so work as a Massage therapist which is a perfect balance. I moved to London 2004 to work with private clients from media and art (including cast of Billy Elliot) also corporate companies including Google.
I met my husband in 2009 and am now based in the Cotswolds building my Yoga classes, therapies working also as a Weleda (natural skin and body care) well being advisor which has also taken me to work behind the scenes at London Fashion Week for the last four years.
So I am extremely happy to offer a taster Yoga class where you can come and try a class – we will include all the keys points of Hatha yoga – proper breathing, proper postures, relaxation, nutrition and positive thinking. I also include postures for balance, better sleep, digestion and maintaining flexibility in the body and the mind.
